Rebirth
After nearly a thousand years of little or no progress, the world finally emerged from the darkness into a period of time called the Renaissance. This era brought unparalleled creative talent to the forefront for the first time since the Roman Empire had collapsed. Giants in art, poetry, literature, drama, architecture, science, and politics all brought their ideas forth into Europe. Though Europe would still be governed by a monarchy for years to come, it was clear that change was on the way.
