In April...
Geoffrey Chaucer had an ambitious goal: To write a slice of life about the Middle Ages. His 30 characters, all on their way to Canterbury, pledged to tell two stories there and two stories back. A whopping 120 tales for readers to enjoy.
He failed.
Chaucer died while writing his works and was only able to finish a handful of the tales. In this class, we will read his famous prologue and two of the most well known tales.
