One of the most inspiring events of the past few years was a 2007 speech by Randy Pausch, a CMU professor diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. With only a few months to live, he gave a "Last Lecture" which covered everything from painting the wall, traveling the Disney World, playing for the NFL, designing virtual worlds and overcoming brick walls.
