Strangely enough, the 700th day has been the least eventful part of the past 24 hours. In that time, I've seen the Baldwin Baseball team compete at Wallace Field (sadly ending their 8-0 winning streak), the National Honor Society induct dozens of juniors into their ranks while honoring their soon-to-graduate seniors, and the Life Skills Students defeat Bethel Park and Elizabeth Forward in a Jeopardy match run entirely via video chat and backchannel in our school's library. The fun continues tomorrow as the Color Guard competes at Baldwin with their new routine "Elements" at 6:20pm. As Dr. Lutz said last night, the Spring is the kick off to an exciting time in public schools.
I've attached some pictures below of Baldwin's latest exploits. As always, I'm merely the reporter. The real credit always goes to the students, and the great teacher sponsors behind each of these organizations. All of them together achieve more than any could alone. Have a great weekend!
