I had the chance to attend last year as a participant where I attended a dozen sessions on flipped classrooms, gamed-based learning, and other uses of mobile technologies. It was this conference that helped me assemble my working model for the game-based system I use in my senior classes this school year. In a "circle of life" style moment, I'm back this year as a presenter to share what I've been working on and help influence and inspire others. I'm hoping to get even more ideas so I can further improve the game-based class structure for next year's version. There's been a lot of good things, but there's still a lot of work to go.
I'll keep everyone posted what I learn, and hopefully I'll avoid making myself sick from candy in the first night. The sweetest place on earth is nothing with which to mess.
