
If the school year is like a game, then Graduation is the cut sequence, and the Brentwood Race is like the video you watch after the credits. Running down the street, it was great seeing so many students, parents, and graduates out either cheering people on, or running in the race themselves. I even had one dedicated supporter make signs, and another group of graduates cheer for me as we passed each other near the turn around. I don't advocate dying after finishing a race, but honestly, if you're going go, it'd be good way to finish. I hope everyone had a great race, and special thanks to our generous sign maker (check out the pictures below)
The rest of the day includes some family events, a pig roast, the mandatory fireworks...and America. Happy Independence Day!
