Of course, now the weekend is over as fast as it began. This week is Homecoming at Baldwin! It'll be a fast and furious week with events scheduled every night from the Homecoming Games, to the Bonfire, to the Football, the Dance, and even some other sporting events sprinkled in. Let's hope, by the end of the week, everyone is as excited as I was when I got to walk on the grass at PNC Park for the first time (see below).
For the final Pirate game of the year, I finally had a chance to touch the grass today. Despite years of taking the tour and being told that the grass was off limits, this year I got to head onto the field at 8am and do some early morning yoga in the left field with around 2,000 other yoga enthusiasts. To be fair, I've never done yoga before outside of my junior year gym class in 2004; I was brought along for the ride by some teachers in my building who have been pressuring me to do yoga for years. They assumed, accurately, the promise of a free Pirate ticket would be too much to refuse. Of course, now the weekend is over as fast as it began. This week is Homecoming at Baldwin!
