What I really hope is that all students remain self-aware as they pick these rather absurd awards. Are these predictions they'll look back on and think "I can't believe I thought..." or will they see it again and know they were just having a good time. Some students have a lot of pressure once these awards are released. The "most likely to succeed" and the "future president" have to spend the rest of their lives wondering if they were able to live up to their high school standards, while the "worst drivers" simply need to avoid any accidents.
The year continues to simultaneously speed up and slow down all at once. Only 27 days remain until the class of 2014 exists only in writing and senior awards as they vanish into a library archive.
