But the evening broadcast was another story. It was polished, stylized, and highly dramatized with famous broadcasters, replay, graphics...and of course a strong focus on the USA team alone. It was The Olympics that I was used to and expecting.
I think what this really shows is that sometimes, it's not the content you have, it's how you edit and showcase it. This is probably the biggest challenge I have with students and their writing throughout the different assignments. Often it's not that they have weak ideas, but there's not showmanship. If the Olympics are any indications, it makes all the difference.
