But there's some solace in the fact that a) this wasn't entirely unpredictable b) we have a chance to win on Monday and then win the series at home on Thursday and c) there needs to be some setbacks, otherwise it's not memorable. What made 2009 so exciting (in retrospect) wasn't that we trounced the Red Wings in four games, but that we came from behind to win on the road against all odds. I remember being at Game 3, tied in the third period, with the whole series on the line, and the Penguins took the lead and never looked back. If the Penguins eventually win this final series, it'll be really exciting...but there needs to be some sort of setback to make it truly memorable.. Otherwise, like Darth Vader said, it's all too easy.
Of course, that being said...I think one set-back is plenty. Let's bounce back on Monday and see what happens from there.
