The end of the Senior Year is very much the same. Today I'm sitting in a half-empty classroom because students are either on the band trip or helping with Special Olympics. Next week, the schedule is all messed up due to Keystones, and the following week we only see the students for three days. It's a fun end, to be sure, but not quite what has made the year actually work. In many ways, it's like a writer's strike of our own.
Still, there's one last assignment to take care of; the Senior Speeches are underway today. Look for their coming on the website with new additions each school day!
