...or will it? As much as I like the break, I've really noticed this year how the break adds a strange memory-wipe that needs to be accounted for in the planning. For example, post-break in January, we have a Chipotle fundraiser on January 3, a Barnes and Noble book fair on January 9, and TED nominations are due January 15. And while it's possible to "remind" people about these events, the memory wipe coming this following week will negate any positive press we have. As a result, I'm currently just vamping as I wait for the year to return..
Because while Christmas break is great, it's also one final obstacle before things can start getting brighter. After gradually darker days for the first four months of school, we're finally starting to move back towards the light. As much as people complain about winter, it moves faster than anything else.
