What is interesting, however, is the continued use of "cyber". There's a few words out there which seem to mean the opposite of their intended definition and "cyber" is probably at second on the list, right after "spry". Someone meaning to appear technologically savvy might refer to something as "cyberspace" or "the web" or "the net", but in reality, use of those words betrays them as being out of touch. In the same way, calling someone "spry" probably means they're actually super old and you're just making excuses for them. Telling a friend "we have to get together soon. We have to!" usually means you have no intention of seeing them, and hearing Mike Tomlin say "we're going to play risky today" usually means he's going to play it safe at the last minute.
So happy "cyber" Monday....whatever that means. Enjoy your time in cyberspace, and may the Net offer you some great messages for your social media accounts and instant messages.
