Nevertheless, I think the opposite fear exists. I remember before I started tweeting, or blogging, I'd sit and think and think about the most biting article I could write, or the most cleverly worded tweet I could come up with. I figured since I don't really tweet often, all of my entries had to be home runs. As a result...I tended not to say much. I'd get a clever idea and think "eh, too edgy", or "too shallow", or "too complex". When you're putting a lot of volume out there, and break through the initial hesitation. Are some of these posts junk? Maybe...but they allow a build up to something much better.
I don't think I'll be blogging everyday for the rest of my life...maybe not even for the rest of the year. Still, I'll keep the streak alive as long as I can. It'll let the good entries jump out and still provide a solid exercise if not.
