I had to wonder though; what are the protocols for seeing an away game? After all, you want to support your home team, yet you're also a guest in someone else's house. I know from personal experience just how obnoxious it can be when I'm trying to watch the Pirates or Steelers and there's a rowdy Blue Jays fan, or Cowboys supporter sitting behind me. When do my "rights" end and the hometown's "protocols" begin? I'm hardly a loud fan as it is, but it made me wonder: is the role of the visiting team to "disrupt" or simply take in the game passively and smile quietly to myself (himself?) when the "good" team is winning.
Thankfully, it was an easy enough win for the Steelers that no one felt too out of place cheering for the Black and Gold. The Browns fans (and team) sadly didn't seem too interested in keeping a rivalry going.
