Speaking of 10, time is running out before we may end up with 10 inches of snow, perhaps delaying or canceling school for Monday. The result of that would require that the student's summer work is shortened, as they'd have to come until June 10th. It would also make Monday the 10th snow day I've experienced since starting my student teaching career back in 2010. Even if we do have school, I'll have to tell my seniors they only have 10 full days to finish their research novels as they prepare to write page number 7, 8, 9, and 10 of formal writing for the year for my class. My juniors will fare no better as they'll have at least 10 questions to answer until they finish an analysis on Thomas Paine's "Crisis".
With that, perhaps it's time to get back to work, I've spent at least 10 minutes writing this. Time to read a few more student essays, eat some dinner and then watch this outdoor Penguins game. Afterwards, I'll finally get around to closing the Gulliver's Travels Quest....sometimes around...well, you know.
